Rhinebeck or bust!

Woo Hoo!

We got the much hoped for email yesterday: there is a spot for us at the New York Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck! We will be in the downstairs of building 22.

I’ve never been to Rhinebeck and I’m very excited. Sue has been several times, showing her Karakul sheep there, but it’s been a few years and I think she is even more excited than I am. We are both very happy and making plans to bring as much yarn and fiber as we can…which is quite a bit!

We haven’t introduced you to our new (to us anyway) baby box truck, Tinkerbell.

We haven’t had her very long, but now she is in the groove. She has carried us and yarn, fiber, tents, tables etc to Dupont Circle for the farmers market and to Falls Church Virginia for the farmers market there….and today we returned from a 1,300 mile tour of New England up to New Hampshire for the Interweave Knitter’s Lab and over to Portsmith for a little r&r and then down to Hartford Connecticut for Stitches East. We have yet to fill her over half full. What a girl!

So we will pack her full for the weekend and head out again. If you see us on the road, honk!

and hope you all get to go to Rhinebeck next weekend too. come by and say hey!
