Each yarn is designed to match the character and best use of the type of fleece. Hand spun or custom spun for us, the yarns are original and either natural sheep colors or dyed here at the farm. Quantities are limited; please buy an extra skein. We are happy to buy back un-opened skeins, but may not have additional matching yarn later.


	Boot sock yarn kits This is the same 100% wool yarn as in the next two photos, but in kits with a basic boot sock pattern. Kits come in women’s size in two, three or five color combinations or in men’s size in two or three color combinations. Wool is from Corriedale-Lincoln cross sheep from Waterford, Virginia. Great for socks or lighter weight sweaters or vests. Each skein is 247 meters or 270 yards, enough for a pair of women’s large socks. 	Hand spun lamb’s wool yarn Grown by the Romney lambs Kalispel and Diddy, this is a single, worsted weight, 100% wool yarn in a natural color bittersweet chocolate brown. Each skein is 100 meters or 110 yards long and the skein weights average 2.5 oz. The gauge is 5 stitches per inch on size 7 (US) needles. 20 skeins available. $14.00	Hand spun lamb’s wool and alpaca yarn Grown by Angelina and Helena and blended with 25% alpaca, this Romney yarn is a single, worsted weight, in natural gray. Each skein is 100 meters or 110 yards long and averages 2.5 oz. The gauge is 5 stitches per inch on size 7 (US) needles. 26 skeins available. $17.00	Hand spun, dyed in the wool yarn 100% wool from Lincoln-Corriedale sheep in Waterford, Virginia. One fleece was dyed many hues and shades of reds and pinks and then blended with white to make a soft, marled single yarn. Unlike yarn-dyed variegated yarns, this is completely random and will not make repeats. Each skein is 100 meters/110 yards and knits at 4.5 st per inch on size 7 (US) needles. $21.00

Nature created color that almost always look good in combination with each other. We use mordants to improve light fastness. They will still fade, but true to color and take on new subtleties. $16.00
