Fiber content: 100% wool.
Yarn character/design: Yarn available in 6 natural sheep shades plus 3 additional marled colors (each ply is a different natural color). It is very soft with nice lustre. Icelandic wool has very little crimp and therefore, little elasticity. It will knit more like alpaca (piece could grow over time) semi-worsted spun 2-ply, DK weight, wraps per inch varies with color, see below.
Suggested needle sizes: 4 to 7 (US), size 5 good sweater feel/structure
Fiber care: Yarn is pre-washed. Finished projects hand wash warm with low agitation, lay flat to dry or dry clean
